Based on a research of 200 women in their 20s to 30s age, regarding ‘Paipan’ (completely shaved pubic area) in Japan, the results were as follows:
Approximately 10% of the surveyed women had opted for a ‘Paipan’ style, which translates to about one in every ten respondents.
Interestingly, even among those who answered 'No' about 70% mentioned they have groomed their pubic area to some extent, leaving 2-3 cm of hair, maintaining a V-shape, or grooming the VIO area at least once.
Additionally, a survey was conducted with men in their 20s to 30s age regarding VIO grooming, and the results were as follows:
While not all men have chosen a ‘paipan’ style, an increasing number of them are engaging in VIO grooming over the years.
